ACM Symposium on SDN Research 2018 - Demos & Posters

Thank you for presenting a demo or poster at the ACM Symposium on SDN Research (SOSR), taking place March 28-29, 2018 at the InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown in Los Angeles, California. This event is co-located with Open Networking Summit North America 2018 (ONS). We look forward to seeing you in Los Angeles!

Demos & Posters Showcase Hours

Set-up Hours:

  • Wednesday, March 28: 7:30am – 9:00am

Open Showcase Hours:

  • Wednesday, March 28: 10:35am – 7:00pm
    • On Wednesday evening, directly following the conference sessions, we will have an onsite “Booth Crawl” from 5:40pm to 7:00pm that will allow ONS and SOSR attendees extended time to visit the exhibits.
  • Thursday, March 29: 10:40am – 3:00pm

Tear-Down Hours:

  • Thursday, March 29: 3:00pm – 6:00pm
    • Please no loud noise in the foyer while sessions are still going on.

Poster & Demo Display

The following items will be provided for each demo or poster display:

  • (1) 6′ draped table
  • (1) chair
  • (1) printed poster on easel
  • (1) 32″ monitor with tabletop stand (upon request only)
  • (1) triple outlet power strip, 5 amp power
  • conference wireless internet

Poster Print Specs & Submission

Print Specs: 22″ width x 28″ height, no bleed, no crop marks

Please send your print-ready file in .pdf, .eps or .ai format via email to Tina Krauss at tkrauss@linuxfoundation.org no later than Wednesday, March 7.

Request a Monitor

32″ monitors with tabletop stands are provided upon request only. If you require a monitor for your demo, please send your request to Tina Krauss at tkrauss@linuxfoundation.org no later than Wednesday, March 7.

Shipping

If you plan to ship items for your exhibit, please reach out to to our vendor Freeman directly as documentation and payment needs to be provided prior to delivery:

Freeman will accept crated, boxed or skidded materials no earlier than Monday, February 26. Shipments arriving after Tuesday, March 20 at 3:30pm Pacific Time will be received at the warehouse with an additional late fee. Please email all tracking numbers for your shipments to Courtenay Pope at cpope@linuxfoundation.org and Tina Krauss at tkrauss@linuxfoundation.org at The Linux Foundation as well as to Freeman at FreemanAnaheimES@freemanco.com so we can ensure that your items are delivered to the conference venue.

Security & Storage

As all exhibits are located in a public space, we highly recommend not leaving valuable items unattended. Please take valuables such as laptops to your guest room or visit the Linux Foundation Info Desk onsite if you have any questions about storing items elsewhere overnight.

With that said, The Linux Foundation, the InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown, Freeman, or any employees or staff of these organizations cannot be held liable for lost or stolen items.
